Singapore Airlines business class from New York JFK to Frankfurt, booked with Air Canada Aeroplan points: 60,000 points one way per person, plus about CAD $80 in taxes and fees (Seats.aero shows CAD $79.80). Aeroplan adds a CAD $39 partner booking fee per ticket, and Seats.aero may not include it, so check the final total.
This is Singapore Airlines' "fifth freedom" flight: SQ25 flies JFK to Frankfurt, then carries on to Singapore. You can book just the JFK to Frankfurt part, so you get Singapore Airlines' long-haul business class on a 7 1/2-hour transatlantic hop.
Dates (2027), all SQ25 nonstop on a Boeing 777-300ER:
- January 1: 2 seats. Leaves JFK 8:15 PM, lands Frankfurt 9:50 AM the next day
- January 3: 4 seats (best for two or more). Same times
- October 12: 2 seats. Leaves JFK 8:55 PM, lands 10:40 AM the next day
The times follow Singapore Airlines' current winter and summer timetables; 2027 schedules can still change.
Dates with only 1 seat at 60,000: January 4, 8, February 15, August 1, 31, October 10 and 11, 2027.
LifeMiles shows January 10 with 4 seats, but at 80,000 miles plus $29.
The seat: lie-flat beds in a 1-2-1 layout, so every seat has aisle access. No doors, and it's not the newer A380 business class. Singapore Airlines can swap the plane, so check the seat map.
How to book:
1. Go to aircanada.com, sign in to Aeroplan and choose to book with points.
2. Search one way JFK to FRA on one of the dates above, in Business.
3. Pick Singapore Airlines SQ25.
4. Make sure the seats, the 60,000-point price and the taxes still show before you move any points.
Amex, Chase, Capital One, and Bilt all transfer to Aeroplan 1:1; transfers can't be undone. These numbers come from Seats.aero (October 23, 2026) and still need checking on aircanada.com.
